CARACTERÍSTICAS
Printed Mailers for Cosmetic Sets
Bring the outer artwork, opening experience and container layout into one packaging brief. This mailer combines a white printing face with a three-layer corrugated structure, so the visual design and the packed fit can be developed together for skincare and beauty kits.
Choose this format when you need a folding, tuck-front presentation box with custom artwork. Start with the actual filled products: their dimensions, weight and arrangement determine the usable cavity, board choice and any insert. Compare other cosmetic packaging formats if the project needs a different opening style.

Choose the Configuration for Your Kit
Skincare gift sets
Plan the positions of jars, bottles and tubes together. Check the tallest cap or pump against the closed lid, not only the container body.
Beauty launches & PR kits
Use outer artwork to introduce the collection and optional inside printing to support the reveal. Allow room for literature only when it is part of the approved layout.
Retail & subscription assortments
Identify which SKUs change between runs. A shared outer size may need a different divider or insert when the product mix changes.
Floral, Plaid and Solid-Color Artwork
The design examples show how patterns and solid colors can define different ranges. They illustrate presentation choices; they do not establish the final dimensions, board grade or exact finish. Keep the logo, small text and key motifs clear of folds and tuck edges.

Understand the Board Before Choosing Thickness
A three-layer corrugated board has two liners with a flute medium between them. The white outer printing face and the corrugated structure serve different jobs: one carries the artwork, while the assembled board helps form the mailer.
Specify board composition, flute profile and caliper in the quote. Select them against filled-kit weight, box span, stacking and delivery conditions. A thickness figure alone does not define the protection of a cosmetic kit; the packed sample remains the reference.

Printing and Surface Options
| Offset artwork | Use for a detailed graphic brief, including fine patterns, gradients or photographic elements. Approve the print on a representative face stock. |
|---|---|
| Flexographic alternative | Discuss for suitable artwork and board configurations; confirm the expected detail and color result before choosing. |
| Gloss or matt lamination | Select the preferred sheen and handling feel. Check appearance across folds and corners on the sample. |
| UV varnish | Specify the coated areas and appearance. UV here describes a finishing process; no UV-protection claim is made. |
| Foil stamping & embossing | Provide separate artwork layers and check fine detail, registration and relief on the chosen board. |
| Inside printing | Identify the printed panels and colors separately from the outer artwork; quote the extra operation explicitly. |
Fit the Interior Around the Filled Products
Provide the maximum container dimensions with caps, pumps, labels and protective sleeves fitted. Note any fragile glass, heavy jars, projecting closures or parts that must not rub against a printed surface.
- Lay out the actual filled containers in the intended opening order.
- Set usable internal dimensions and clearance around each container.
- Develop the optional insert or divider and confirm how the products are removed.
- Close the packed sample and check lid pressure, movement and separation between items.
The mailer is secondary packaging. Primary cosmetic containers must retain their own closure and leakage control; a paper box should not be treated as liquid containment.
Coordinate the Wider Packaging Range
Matching colors can connect the mailer to a retail bag or another gift-box format. Specify the mailer first, then list any extra pieces with their own size, quantity, material and artwork. The collection images are styling references, not a bundled contents list.

What Changes the Quoted Price?
| Box size & board | Usable cavity, liner specification, flute profile and material use |
|---|---|
| Artwork & print coverage | Number of printed faces, color requirements, inside print and artwork changes |
| Finishing | Lamination, varnish, foil or embossing and the decorated area |
| Insert & accessories | Divider or insert geometry, assembly, additional bags and any separate protective parts |
| Quantity split | Quantity per size, design and finish, rather than the total alone |
| Packing & destination | Flat or assembled delivery, carton count, protective packing and freight requirements |
MOQ, Samples and Production Planning
The product’s reference minimum is 5,000 boxes. Confirm the minimum for each size, artwork and finish combination.
Request a structural mockup to check folding and fit, then a printed or finished sample when color or surface appearance affects approval. Sample fees, freight, any tooling and refund conditions must be written into the quotation; no universal free-sample policy is stated.
Sample and production schedules are quoted for the selected configuration. Agree the sample period, approval deadline, production start event and dispatch window separately. Freight transit is an additional planning item.
From Kit Brief to Approved Order
- Confirm the cosmetic kit: container drawings or samples, filled weights, layout and desired usable cavity.
- Review the quotation: board composition, printed faces, finish, insert, quantity split and packing.
- Approve the dieline and artwork: orientation, panel boundaries, fold clearances and decorative layers.
- Review the physical sample: loading, removal, lid closure, print appearance and the complete packed configuration.
- Release the agreed version for production and define the inspection and acceptance checklist.
- Inspect the finished batch against the approved sample, then confirm carton packing and shipment details.
Agree the Quality Acceptance Points
| Board and dimensions | Compare the specified liners, flute and usable cavity with the agreed material and drawing. |
|---|---|
| Print appearance | Use an agreed proof or physical color reference; set the color acceptance method before production. |
| Fold and tuck operation | Check crease quality, folded edges, tab engagement and repeated opening on representative samples. |
| Insert fit | Confirm container retention, removal access and separation using the actual packed kit. |
| Finish and decoration | Review scuff appearance, foil registration, embossing and fold-area appearance against the approved sample. |
| Packed performance | Agree handling or transport tests suited to the kit and route; no certified strength or drop rating is claimed. |
Packing, Storage and Delivery
Discuss flat-pack delivery when it fits the chosen structure and your assembly process. If pre-assembled boxes or installed inserts are required, identify them explicitly because carton volume and labor change.
- Approve the box delivery state and insert packing method.
- Set the count per bundle or carton and the protection needed for printed surfaces.
- Confirm carton labels, dimensions, gross weights and pallet requirements before dispatch.
- Match the freight quotation to the confirmed packing volume, destination and delivery deadline.
Store paper packaging in a clean, dry environment and assess the packed kit for its actual route. Surface finishing alone does not establish weather resistance for the whole package.
Before You Commit to Bulk
Check one complete kit with the real containers, inserts, printed box and any outer shipping protection. Confirm that the lid closes without pressure on pumps or caps, jars stay separated, the kit can be removed comfortably and the artwork is correctly oriented when opened.
Keep the approved sample and versioned artwork as references for the order. Record material, finish and packing changes before repeating a previous run.

Preguntas frecuentes
01. Can one box hold a bottle, jar and tube together?
Yes, the layout can be developed around a mixed cosmetic kit. Send each filled container’s maximum dimensions and weight, including caps, pumps and protruding parts. Approve the layout using real containers before bulk production.
02. Is the white paperboard the entire box material?
This product uses a corrugated mailer structure. The white paperboard is the smooth printing face; the completed board includes a flute medium and inner liner. The quotation should identify each board component rather than describing the box as a single sheet of white card.
03. Should I choose offset or flexographic printing?
Offset is the starting option for detailed floral artwork, gradients or photography. Flexographic printing may suit simpler graphics, depending on the board and production arrangement. Compare a relevant print proof rather than choosing by process name alone.
04. Can the inside and outside have different artwork?
Inside printing can be specified separately. Mark each printed face on the dieline, identify the interior color and confirm whether additional print setup or finishing is needed. The pictured inside colors are design examples.
05. Will gloss lamination make the entire package waterproof?
No whole-package waterproof performance is established here. A face finish does not seal cut edges, folds or openings. Specify the expected handling conditions and evaluate a packed sample if moisture or scuff exposure matters.
06. Are the inserts and shopping bags included?
Inserts are optional, and the collection images also show paper bags and other box styles. List each required item separately so the quotation identifies the included box, insert, bag, finish and packing configuration.
07. Can I combine several artworks within the 5,000-box reference MOQ?
The reference quantity does not establish a mixed-design allowance. Provide the quantity for each size and artwork; confirm the applicable minimum, setup charges and unit price for each configuration.
08. Does the mailer replace protection for glass cosmetic containers?
Protection depends on the filled product, divider or insert, closure, outer packing and delivery route. Approve the complete packed system and agree any transport testing required; no drop-test or damage-free delivery rating is stated.
09. Can I claim that the finished box is recyclable or biodegradable?
Any environmental statement must match the final liners, inks, lamination, adhesives and local collection conditions. Request evidence for the selected construction before using such claims on packaging or marketing.
10. How do I get a sample schedule and delivery quotation?
Send the kit layout, quantity split, artwork, finish, delivery destination and required arrival date. Ask for separate sample and production timings, with the approval event and freight time clearly identified.
