CARATTERISTICHE
A kraft mailer can keep the outside understated while giving the recipient a different view when the lid opens. This folding box family combines an attached lid and tuck-in flaps with custom logo placement, exterior artwork and optional interior printing. Choose natural kraft presentation, a contrasting inside color or a more fully printed design around your brand brief.

Applicazioni
01. Branded gift packs
Use the exterior to identify the brand and the interior to frame the opening experience. Size the cavity around the complete gift and any wrap.
02. Cosmetic presentation
Include full bottle or jar dimensions, caps and accessories. Fragile containers need a separately reviewed packing and protection arrangement.
03. Retail mailing projects
Specify product restraint, closure, sealing and the shipping package together before approving parcel use.
How to Choose the Right Kraft Mailer
| You want a natural appearance | Keep a visible kraft exterior and review logo contrast on the actual paper. |
|---|---|
| The opening view is a priority | Specify the inside lid, base and side-wall artwork rather than assuming every face is printed. |
| A set contains different products | Arrange the complete set and protective packing before setting internal dimensions. |
| Color matching is critical | Review the chosen paper, CMYK/PMS reference and physical print proof together. |
| The box will be mailed | Select board and packing for the actual product weight and route; assess the complete pack. |
Kraft Background and Printed Interior
The brown exterior and the printed interior are separate design decisions. A dark inside pattern creates a different contrast from a pale pink interior, even when the outer structure remains similar. Specify which paper faces are exposed and how the logo should read in the open and closed positions.

The paper background influences the visible print result. Agree on color and opacity requirements with the selected print process, including any required underprint, then approve the physical sample. A digital mockup is useful for layout review but does not replace paper and color approval.

Product-Specific Buying Questions
| Does the inside print reach every folded face? | Mark printed and unprinted faces on the dieline, including side flaps and folded returns. |
|---|---|
| Can fine patterns sit across a crease? | Review pattern registration, fold position and finish on an assembled sample. |
| Will a dark interior mark a light product or wrap? | Assess rubbing and surface contact using the actual product and selected finished print. |
| Is a glossy surface suitable for the brand presentation? | Compare the selected finish on the actual paper, including folds and visible handling marks. |

Materials, Dimensions and Structural Fit
Specify the kraft paper, carton board and any corrugated structure as part of one approved material specification. The natural color is a visual characteristic; it does not establish a strength rating, recycled-content percentage or environmental certification.
- Measure the complete product with its cap, label, wrap and any accessories.
- Define usable internal length, width and height; record external dimensions separately.
- Select the board construction and thickness for the packed weight and handling requirements.
- Review the lid, crease positions and side-flap engagement on the loaded sample.
No fixed box dimensions or thickness are assigned to the display designs. Use the approved structural drawing to define the production configuration.
Printing & Surface Finishing
| CMYK / PMS requirements | Agree artwork, printed faces and a physical color reference. |
|---|---|
| Offset / flexographic printing | Review the suitable process for the paper, artwork and quantity. |
| Matte / gloss lamination or varnish | Select the appearance and evaluate the finished surface at folds. |
| Gold / silver foil | Define the foil color, artwork area and position clear of critical creases. |
| Embossing / UV treatment | Confirm the design area and visual effect on the selected board. |

Review artwork orientation in both open and closed positions. Keep important text and logos clear of fold transitions, flap edges and any cut features. Separate finishing layers from the main print artwork for proof approval.
Interior Packing and Accessories
The illustrated open cavities show the printed presentation, not a universal interior protection system. If the product needs support, define its position and contact points before choosing an insert or added wrap.
| Single item | Confirm movement allowance, removal access and any protective wrap. |
|---|---|
| Several items | Provide a layout with separation and any required divider or support. |
| Tissue or sticker | Specify material, artwork, quantity and whether it is included in the quoted pack. |
| Fragile product | Evaluate restraint and cushioning together with the outer shipping carton. |

What Affects the Price?
| Box dimensions | The final footprint, height and dieline determine material use. |
|---|---|
| Paper and board | Paper surface, board construction and thickness affect the material specification. |

| Color and artwork | Coverage, color requirements and different design versions affect production scope. |
| Surface finishing | Foil, embossing, coating and lamination add separate operations. |
| Interior components | Any support, tissue, sticker or other accessory changes the quoted pack. |
| Quantity and delivery state | Quantity per artwork and flat or assembled supply affect packing and production planning. |

Domande frequenti sul prodotto
01. Can I keep a brown kraft exterior and print inside?
Yes. The design examples include a natural kraft exterior with a contrasting printed interior. Specify the faces to print and approve the actual paper, artwork and color appearance on a sample.
02. Will a color look the same on kraft and white paper?
Do not approve color from a screen image alone. The paper background is part of the final appearance. Review your CMYK or PMS reference on the selected paper and agree on any opacity or underprint requirements before production.
03. What size and board thickness can I choose?
Dimensions and shape are customized. Provide the product dimensions, weight and packing layout; the board construction and thickness are then agreed for that configuration. No universal load rating or standard thickness applies to every design.
04. What is the custom-order MOQ?
Logo, pattern and packaging customization options start at 1,000 pieces. State the quantity for each size and artwork version so the complete order split can be confirmed.
05. Can I use a stock sample instead of a custom sample?
A stock sample can help review general construction and finish. A sample made to the final dimensions and artwork is needed to approve your specific fit and color. Confirm sample availability, cost and dispatch arrangements for the project.
06. How long do sampling and production take?
The planning reference is 5 working days for a sample and 15 working days for bulk production of an agreed configuration. Confirm the sample scope, quantity, approval milestones and production start point in the quotation; these are not delivery guarantees.
07. Which artwork files should I send?
AI, PDF and CAD are accepted reference formats. Confirm the production-file requirements, dimensions, fonts and finishing layers. Artwork must be checked against the approved dieline before printing.
08. Can an insert, tissue or sticker be included?
Specify each component separately. The open-cavity examples do not establish a standard insert or accessory bundle; define the contents and packing method before approving any interior support.
09. Can the finished box go directly into the parcel network?
Define the complete packed product, sealing, cushioning and any outer shipping carton for the intended route. Evaluate a representative finished pack rather than relying on the appearance of the empty mailer.
10. Does kraft paper mean the finished box is certified biodegradable?
Material and environmental requirements must be confirmed for the complete selected construction, including inks, coatings and added components. Specify any required documentation before approving the material and finishing.
