Oz Conversion Calculator

Choose whether your ounce value describes liquid volume or mass. The calculator applies the correct conversion factor and rounds the result for easy packaging planning.

29.5735 mLFormula: 1 × 29.5735295625Measurement type: Volume

For liquid products, use fluid ounces. For bottle, closure or carton weight, use weight ounces. A fluid ounce cannot be converted to grams without the formula density.

Ounce Converter FAQs

Is 1 oz always 29.57 mL?

No. One US fluid ounce is 29.5735 mL, while one Imperial fluid ounce is 28.4131 mL. A weight ounce measures mass, not liquid volume.

Can I convert fluid ounces to grams?

Only when the formula density is known. Use mass in grams = volume in mL × density in g/mL.

How many sprays are in 1 mL?

It depends on the atomizer. If the measured output is 0.10 mL per actuation, 1 mL is approximately 10 sprays.
